Pentland IPA is a refreshing, easy-drinking pale ale that pours a pale straw colour with a clean white head. It offers a moderate bitterness and a balanced fruity hop character, making it a go-to choice for those who enjoy flavour without overwhelming intensity.
Brewed with a melody of European and American hops, Pentland IPA delivers subtle citrus and floral notes, underpinned by a smooth malt backbone. The result is a moreish, sessionable beer that bridges the gap between traditional Scottish brewing and modern hop-forward styles.
What is a Pale Ale?
A pale ale is a style of beer known for its golden to amber colour, moderate strength, and balanced hop and malt profile. Pentland IPA leans into this tradition while incorporating international hop varieties to give it a fresh, contemporary edge.
Perfect for fans of balanced IPAs, session beers, and those looking for a classic with character.
This beer is Gluten Free, making it a great choice for those with gluten sensitivities or anyone exploring gluten-reduced options.

Mini Cask Information
Each mini cask contains 5 litres of fresh cask beer.
How to Use Your Mini Cask
1. Settle Your Cask
Place the mini cask on a sturdy, level surface in a cool spot (around 12°C) with enough space to fit a glass underneath.
Do not refrigerate — serving too cold will deactivate the yeast and result in a flat beer.
Allow the cask to settle for at least 12 hours. We recommend up to 24 hours for best results.
If the cask is moved or disturbed at any point, it will need to re-settle.
2. Vent the Cask
Pull up the red ring pull on top and turn the ventilation tap one quarter turn in the direction of the arrow.
Let the cask sit for another 30 minutes.
3. Pour Your Beer
Without moving the cask, pull out the dispensing tap at the bottom and turn it (in the direction of the arrow) to pour.
4. Storing After Opening
Enjoy your beer and close the ventilation tap when you’re not pouring.
Once the cask has been vented, please drink within 7 days.
